Once the upper is made, it will be temporarily attached to the last to make a trial fit shoe. You’ll try it on, the craftsman will make any necessary adjustments, and then the shoe will be finished. It is a lengthy process that involves going back for several fittings and consultations. Quality takes time, so be patient.
